Important:

Powder coating is a durable, high-performance coating process designed for strength, longevity, and corrosion resistance. While we take pride in producing clean, high-quality finishes, powder coating is not the same as a custom wet paint or automotive show-quality paint job.


Due to the nature of the process—especially with thick, multi-layer coatings such as primers, special-effect colors, candies/illusions, and clear coats -minor cosmetic imperfections may be present. These can include light texture variation, small inclusions, edge buildup, or slight thickness around masked areas, plugs, and threaded holes. These characteristics are normal and inherent to powder coating. Finished parts are evaluated under normal shop lighting at a reasonable viewing distance. Coatings are not judged under magnification or flashlight-level inspection.

Since expectations can vary, final appearance requirements must be discussed thoroughly at drop-off. This ensures the customer understands the process, the limitations of powder coating, and how it differs from custom paint finishes. Our goal is always to align expectations before work begins so there are no surprises at pickup.

If an ultra-high cosmetic, "zero-imperfection", show-car/concours-level finish is required, this must be discussed in advance, as it may require an alternative process, additional labor, or a different finishing method altogether.
